refresh rate problem

Hello everyone

Since my display card don't have a driver
so i use the VESA( Generic ) driver
I can set any resolution by using Xconfigurator / Editing the XF86Config file
however, I cannot change the refresh rate higher than 60 Hz in any of the resolution.

Can anyone teach how to do so?
I nearly get blind !!!!!!!!

One more thing,
I have tried change the refresh rate to 75Hz, and it does display "75"
but the monitor still flash. ( I know it is 60Hz )

Is it the wrong setting in monitor or due to unsupport of Display card?
