RedHat 7.1 Invalid or corrupt kernel image

I recently downloaded the two image ISO files for RedHat Linux 7.1 from RedHat and burned them into two CDs according to Nero's website instructions. It generated me a bootable Linux CD, that shows the initial install text screen but as I choose any install mode it goes:

loading
Invalid or corrupt kernel image.

I tried to fool it by booting from a DOS floppy and running d:/dosutils/autoboot.bat, and, much to my chagrin, it worked... at least for a while, the graphical installation goes as far as formatting the hard disk, after that it invariably freezes.

I imagine it has, somehow, something to do with that corrupt kernel image it mentioned before, which might be a problem caused by Nero's burning? The thing is that the CD is bootable and I am able to see its whole content.

I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Just because you can boot the CD and view its contents doesn't exclude the possibility of data corruption; the burn or the download could still be bad. Try a reburn; if that doesn't work, try dowloading the ISOs again.

try if ...

Please try on other computer with CD driver to read that burning CD with RH.
If it works then try to download again that ISO cd's.

It happend to me but with Mandrake 8.0 .

The same Nero but with a Copy-CD not ISO burning.
The result was that the cd was unreadeable in RPMS directory.
I don't know what was the problem ...

Sorry for my english.

Regards.
