Recursive WGET via FTP

I am running the following command:
Code:
wget -r --ftp-user=me --ftp-password=pass ftp://ftp.mysite.com
I need to download a bunch of image files at once. It connects but only makes a file called index.html listing the directory. The html file has all the files that I want in it, but it didn't download a thing . . . . the output is as follows:
Quote:
[root@jasmine pro]# wget -r --retr-symlinks --ftp-user=me --ftp-password=pass ftp://ftp.mysite.com
--09:58:29-- ftp://ftp.mysite.com/
=> `ftp.mysite.com/.listing'
Resolving ftp.mysite.com... 10.93.114.143
Connecting to ftp.mysite.com|10.93.114.143|:21... connected.
Logging in as me ... Logged in!
==> SYST ... done. ==> PWD ... done.
==> TYPE I ... done. ==> CWD not needed.
==> PASV ... done. ==> LIST ... done.

[ <=> ] 307,797 248K/s in 7.8s

09:58:38 (38.7 KB/s) - `ftp.mysite.com/.listing' saved [307797]

Removed `ftp.mysite.com/.listing'.
Wrote HTML-ized index to `ftp.mysite.com/index.html' [532976]
what is going on? why is it not downloading anything . . . . ? I can log in using a gui and download everything fine. . .

Try adding --follow-ftp before your ftp url.

Missing File Name

Try this instead

Code:
wget -r --ftp-user=me --ftp-password=pass ftp://ftp.mysite.com/*.*
