qutting find midway.


Is there a way to stop a find search midway by pressing a button? I accidently hit enter before finishing stating the directory i wanted it to look in so now it is looking through all of /. thanks in advance.

Try Ctrl c

that works but also changes the resolution of my terminal window. I can hit Ctrl +c to bring it back up to the same size tho

Sorry, I didn't mean for you to type the ( - ) just press the Ctrl key and the c key.

it's cool. I thought that is what you meant but i've gotten used to associating - with options that i thought maybe it was a quit option. lol.
