Haven't done this myself but worth a shot. I found this sometime ago:
Code:
open terminal, run
cdrecord -scanbus
mount /mnt/hda4
umount /dev/scd0
-- at this point i took the cd out and put in a blank one --
cdrecord -dev=0,0,0 /mnt/hda4/Filmid/donnie.iso
-- at this point i put the knoppix cd back in --
mount /dev/scd0 /cdrom
didn't work with the first attempt though, so here are some pointers:
1. do NOT run anything you haven't run already (cloop apparently caches some things - dont know how much) while knoppix cd is out
2. on second thought, try not to use stuff while the cd is out, either. some programs want to load files runtime as well, and doing that when cd isn't in the drive seemed to "fsck them up".
3. definitely run mount before unmounting the cd, or copy mount to your home directory
need to be careful, but can be done.
