qmail delivery time

I have install qmail and all the emails received are delivered with no problem on my mail box.

But theur arrive on my mailbox after 30 or 45 mins of delay.

Is there a parameter to change on qmail to deliver faster?

thanks for you support.

How did you install qmail? According to qmailrocks? Lifewithqmail? depends on what other processes are handling your mail. Maybe your spam or antivirus scanners are taking too long?? For example, if you are running spamassassin, try starting spamd with the -D switch and look at the tail of /var/log/maillog and watch for the debug messages and you can see what is taking so long or where its stuck.
