qrender is dependent from ffmpeg v0.6.7, to use the newest ffmpeg one has to rewritte qrender.
OK, qrender is not a requirement for qdvdauthor to actually make the DVD structure.

I remember that from back when I used the slackbuild system to get qdvdauthor 2.3.0
https://slackbuilds.org/repository/1...ia/qdvdauthor/
These are the configuration options it uses.

./configure -n \
--prefix=$PKG/usr \
--system-path=/usr \
--omit-local-ffmpeg \
--build-qslideshow \
--omit-qrender

Sooo... just now commented-out all of the stuff for qrender and do not have ffmpeg SRC in the qrender/ffmpeg-0.6.7 subdir.

qdvdauthor built perfectly fine and worked perfectly to do the conversions
of mp4 into mpeg2 and then mpeg2 into vob using my already installed ffmpeg 6.1.1

_______

I have recommended that when you have it completed, it should be adding to slackware.

to disable qrender one has to comment out in CMakeLists.txt
Code:
add_subdirectory(qrender)
to
#add_subdirectory(qrender)

Yes, that's what I commented-out.

Of-course for my system, also commented-out the vlc stuff.
