yeah
i just installed it
i can get the file browser open but when i try to import .ogg or .mp3 protux crashes with "file type not supported in protux" for ogg and "audio import not implemented yet" for mp3

i suspect (maybe) that it will export to ogg or mp3 but not work with

what is it you want to do with the ogg/mp3's?????

if you're looking to put a series of ogg/mp3's together into a kind of set
then terminatorX maybe the way to go, this is however more akin to Virtual Turntables (win app) and requires balancing of tempos and working out times for cue's and fades

ic .. well when i was using window$ was using sonic foundrys acid pro to mix mp3's and share with friends in the dj community.
It was eas of use to make quality mixes and also to add bits and bats to tunes and also make them shorter for mixes ect ..

yupp

i used acid for a while
superb program

as far as i know there isn't anything for linux that even comes close

bombard sonic foundry with emails asking them to port it
or you might try using wine to get acid running but i don't know if it's possible

protux does import wavs ok

maybe that's the way to go

render to final wav and then convert to ogg/mp3
