Progress bar for files (Almalinux)

Hello,

I would like to ask if I would like to see for example a mv progress (in Almalinux), how can I do that (except rsync)?
I wanted to install "progress" (from Xfennec) and "pv" (from Andrew Wood) via dnf install but these packages not in repository.

I compiled both and pv is not working, it's shows always 0 kbps, progress with watch is working well but if I copy lots of small files only show the current file in progress, so I can't follow the whole process only I enter a quite long command to archive this, I think MidnightCommander will be my friend after all

I just run "du" on the destination file every now and then.

I have not played with almalinux yet but in the past pv was in the epel repository which is not enabled by default.
