Problems with CrossOver

Hi all, I just installed CrossOver Office Professional v4.0 on FC4; the problem I have is, when I launch the 'Office setup' tool I get this error: 'Unable to convert 'c:\' to a unix route. wine: failed to initialize: /opt/cxoffice//lib/wine/ntdll.dll.so: cannot restore segment after reloc: Permission denied'. I tried changing the permissions of ntdll.dll.so and still get the same results. Does someone know how to solve this?
Thanks in advance.

P.S.: I know some linux users are opposite to windows emulators. I find OpenOffice is great (specially 2.0 beta), and can completely substitute MS Office, but I still need MS Office to make the format of the documents I'm using completely compatible with .doc files (i.e. number of pages, paragraph separations between pages, etc) since when I write a document in OO it's always larger than in MS Office, and I need to know exactly how many pages it will be when someone using MS open the document, since I need to share this documents with people using MS. That's the only reason I still use MS Office.

mmm.. tricky it is probably because you installed it as root... if it is an option I would advise to reinstall it as user... cxoffice will be in your /home and you should not have permission problem...
Sorry not to be able to help much
Good luck!
A.
