[SOLVED] Problems trying to compile Dream Desktop (Fedora 18)

I'm trying to get Dream Desktop into Linux (plasma-wallpaper-dreamdesktop-0.1.0.tar.bz2) but when I try to do the cmake process, it comes back with:

- Unable to find libavcodec header files!
CMake Error at cmake/modules/Findlibavcodec.cmake:40 (message):
Could not find libavcodec!

I have the header files under /usr/include/ffmpeg/libavformat

and I have /usr/lib/libavformat.so -> /usr/lib/libavformat.so.52

So why is this problem coming up?

Check if there's a libavcodec-devel package?

No, and I cannot find such a package in the repositories either.

But it seems I have the header files the program is looking for, all under /usr/include/ffmpeg/libavformat

Try looking for "plasma-wallpaper-dreamdesktop-0.3.0-1.1.x86_64.rpm"? (Probably need to add the Kenzy repo first, see http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat...repo&srodzaj=3)

Wow, how did you discover that??? And it works, too!

At some point I'm going to need to confront this cmake problem. But for now this works!
