I just downloaded, compiled, and installed (the latter two as root) the source for the latest version of KDevelop. When I try to run it from /usr/local/kde/bin, I get the error:
Quote:
Unable to find plugins, KDevelop will not work properly.
Please make sure that KDevelop is installed in your KDE directory, otherwise you have to add KDevelop's installation path to the environment variable KDEDIRS and run kbuildsycoca. Restart KDevelop afterwards.
Example for BASH users:
export KDEDIRS=/path/to/kdevelop:$KDEDIRS && kbuildsycoca
|
I'm running tsch, but I set the variable via:
Code:
set KDEDIRS = ( /usr/local/kde )
...to no avail. I also have no idea what the exact path to KDevelop is. I ran configure using the defaults except for --without-arts to supress an error.
Ideas? This is Fedora Core 1.
