Hi guys,

I am installed the linux kernel 2.6.27.18-custom. Now I want to install the kernel version 2.6.10. I have taken the kernel source version 2.6.10 and i am using ubuntu linux. Now when i am trying make menuconfig for 2.6.10 kernel version, I am getting following problem:

Can anybode tell what is problem and how do fix it in order to get .config for version 2.6.10 kernel version?

If you already have a .config in place, try running make oldconfig before menuconfig.

I tried it did not work. But i want to tell one more thing that Config file in /boot directory is 2.6.27. any idea...
