Problem with mounting ntfs in Redhat 8


when i try to install ntfs kernel module for redhat 8 it gives this error
"package kernel-ntfs-2.4.18-14 is already installed
file /lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/fs/ntfs/ntfs.o from install of kernel-ntfs-2.4.18-14 conflicts with file from package kernel-ntfs-2.4.18-14"

but it's not showing in insmod or lsmod
no sign of a ntfs installed

how can i over come with this problem
please let me the solutions

so did you try typing :
insmod ntfs
