problem with html form

hi

please can someone tell me where i can find a html forum, or maybe someone can help me, please.

Mel
----------------------------------
the problem is as follow:

we have a search.php, the search action goes to index.html.

now index.html has 2 frames, mainmenu.php, and welcome.html.

the problem is when i do a search in search.html, and press go, it brings up empty results.

http://cctv.dundee.ac.uk/test/test/index.html

i have tried to change action to mainmenu.php. the reuslts are right, but index does not show as would be expected.

Regards,
Mel

your url doesnt work,

the action=... should not go to a .html file, it does nothing.

sorry

http://cctv.dundee.ac.uk/test/test/search.php
this page action is set to mainmenu.php, i get the right results:

http://cctv.dundee.ac.uk/test/test/m...bmit=Send+Data

but i would like to display these results inside the frame, rather than taken a whole page.

http://cctv.dundee.ac.uk/test/test/index.php

Thanks,
Mel

the action to search.php should be set to index.php

and in index.php you should replace your <frame with...

<frame src=mainmenu.php?" . $QUERY_STRING . ">
