Problem with Adobe Flash Player display in Hardy Heron

Hi! For my university, lectures are posted online using Adobe Flash Player. The way they are done is there is sound associated with the lecture that plays, while a powerpoint slide is visible on the screen. On the side is a bar to navigate from one powerpoint to another. I am having an issue when viewing these presentation in that the powerpoint slide part of the video only shows the left 1/3 of the slide, tiled 3 times horizontally across the place where the entire slide should be. I can still use the navigation sidebar, and when the instructor's mouse moves over the left 2/3 of the slide I can see what should really be in those portions, but only for a short amount of time before it reverts to being tiled. Does anyone know how this kind of problem could occur? I know people using windows with firefox haven't had the problem, so I was thinking it was some problem with the settings of flash player in ubuntu.

A screenshot I took of the problem is here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...Screenshot.png
Thanks for the help!

Have you tried saving the PDF to /tmp and then opening it outside of firefox using a different PDF display program like xpdf, gpdf, kpdf, etc?

I didn't know this was a pdf? It doesn't appear like other pdfs do in firefox, and I haven't been able to discover any way of downloading it. It's basically a video in the main screen, except the video contains the current powerpoint slide and the instructor's mouse as it moves around. There is then a side portion that allows me to seek around to different parts of the video. The problems I am having are with the powerpoint slide part of things.
