I am trying to mount a .iso image on my virtual machine.

My main operating system and my virtual machine are both Centos 7.

I am using a Oracle VM VirtualBox manager.

I am failing to mount an .iso image on this virtual machine. I selected the image under the "Device" heading on the virtual machine's menu, but when I run the df command before and after, nothing changes. This virtual machine does not recognize the image.

I was able to do this on my other (Ubuntu) virtual machine but that one has a GUI and this one does not, if that makes a difference.

Has anybody else had these kinds of issues?

Without a GUI the image will not automatically mount. As root or via sudo if enabled
