Problem installing firmware-linux-nonfree on Debian

I got a second GPU (ASUS ENGTS450) that seems to work fine except it needs drivers. (at least that's what I gathered so far.)
I'm running the most recent release of Debian - Jessie.

When booting up, the pc gives me this error

And doesn't progress any further.

My sources.list looks like this

but after saving that and doing
Code:
sudo apt-get update
and then
Code:
sudo apt-get install firmware-linux-nonfree
it still says "Unable to locate package"

Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Also a small question - if I were to re-install Debian right now since it's pretty fresh anyways so I don't care, will it auto-detect and download the needed drivers for the card?

Hya,

I do not see any of your mistakes. Most probably, typo or hidden code.

One workaround is, visit https://packages.debian.org/jessie/a...nfree/download and select one of them to directly download. Then dpkg -i firmware-linux-nonfree.....deb

The answer for your small question would be "No". Clean install will not look for non-free/contrib repo.

cheer
