Little problem, GIMP doesn't print, in spite of the command. I've got a Canon IP4300, in SuSE10.3, with the official and correct drivers. In GIMP as PostScriptLevel 2, instruction: lp -s -dip4300 -oraw and ppd-file: /etc/cups/ppd/ip4300.ppd, printer name: IP4300, resolution: 600x600dpi (I can't change this).

The printer effectively prints from all other programs after a print command and the task can be seen in KJobViewer. GIMP sends the print command, there is no task in KJobViewer and nothing i printed.

So what's wrong? I've already got something like GhostScript and PostScript, so I don't understand why GIMP is not printing at all.

How can I get GIMP printing really now and how can I change the resolution whenever I want? Thanks to those who know to solve this problem.

You may need to install gutenprint (it's former name was gimp-print).

Gutenprint and gutenprint-devel have already been installed, version 5.0.1-1@i586, so this cannot be the solution of the problem.
What can be wrong then?
