PPTPD RPM not installing properly (and slow repository problems)

I've recently struggled across this problem:

While executing this command:
rpm -ivh pptpd-1.3.4-1.rhel5.1.x86_64.rpm

I've tried to install glibc which didn't change anything.

My other problem is that I'm downloading at 35kbps from connexeon.net (Belgian repo) but that my connection is the following:

Something isn't right here, and I'd appreciate some help.

Try installing compat-glibc, is there some reason you're not using yum?
