PPPoe Configuration Tool

i hate to say it, i'm using Lindows!!!

one of the nice things about it, though,
is the PPPoe configuration tool. all you do
is type in your account name and password and it
"finds" your DSL connection.

i switched to Lin. because I couldn't figure out
how to connect to the internet via DSL with
either Mandrake 9 or RedHAT 7.3...

since most of the Lindows apps are just
rehashed/renamed verions of other linux-ware,
does anyone know of a program that will find and
configure your DSL for you?

i have SBCYahoo if that means anything.

cheers.

Well, rp-pppoe does the trick pretty simply, http://www.roaringpenguin.com
if you know your username and password basically it's all it takes to setup rp-pppoe DSL "dialer"
