postgresql self training

Hello --

I am interested in eventually getting an administrator certification in PostgreSQL database. To that end I wanted to know if anyone could recommend a self-training book or course that can help me achieve that goal. This would be in addition to hands-on experience that I currently and will continue to have in the future.

Thanks.

the online manual is excellent. once you install and initialize postgres, you can go through the first part, which is a hands-on tutorial. note that your distro may have a specific procedure on initializing the database. you should follow that rather than the more generic procedure mentioned in the postgres manual.
