Hi there.

I have a postfix instance that relays mail for various servers in my environment. Normally each server relays to my postfix server via it's public domain name which works fine. I use the mynetworks file for to allow relay for thier various IP's / ranges.

The issue i have today is that there are a few servers that don't have public IP's and i am attempting to relay to my postfix instance via it's internal private IP. When i try to i receive the following error:

Relay access denied (in reply to RCPT TO command))

Is there anything in particular i need to add in my postfix config? I have allowed the private ip ranges to mynetworks.

Does your postfix server actually see the private IP addresses, or are they NATed? Which IP addresses appear in the log?

I've done a little more digging and it looks like an interface that is up within the system is not up in my solaris zone. Does anyone have any info on bringing this interface up within my solaris zone?
