I am trying to setup mail relay running on postfix on RHEL 7.5. Our old postfix infra is running on RHEL 6.9, for the ACL we are using apolicy which unfortunately is no longer available in 7.5
Server is running only as a mail relay, we are not receiving any emails. The goals are:
- send emails only from selected subnets (only emails from production vlans are allowed to be send) others should be rejected
- send emails only from specific @domains, not defined domains should be rejected
I was reading about the smtpd_sender_restrictions - easy to understand but the problem which i have is 'first rule wins' so i cannot use both below options as if it will match first rule it will not proceed with the second one....
smtpd_sender_restrictions =
check_sender_a_access hash:/etc/postfix/sender_IP_checks,
check_sender_access hash:/etc/postfix/sender_checks,
reject
