Possible to scrape a torrent (get # of seeds and peers) from terminal?

I'm looking for a way to determine a torrent's seeds & peers through the terminal, using the .torrent file.

The purpose is to eventually send the information to a local (offline) webpage I have for keeping track of torrents. Thanks.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Unfortunately, it only worked for 1 out of 4 trackers I tried, and it hasn't been updated since 03.
