Question Possible to Backup my Caja settings?

Hi.

Is it possible to backup all of my Caja settings? So to keep my 'views by size', 'date modified', etc. for various folders.

There is a folder called 'caja' in .config but I'm not sure if this contains all the settings I want to preserve.

Thanks.

I don't know if it helps you, but a wee look around my system indicates that Caja may maintain its folder-specific settings in device-specific files in ~/.local/share/gvfs-metadata. These files appear to be a binary/text mix, and I'm not sure how transferable they are if backed up and then recovered to a system working at a different point in time.

You might want to have a look around and see if anyone has produced a dconf-editor type interface to read/write them.
