POP3 server setup with sendmail on RH9

Hello,

Sendmail is up and running nicely, and I would like to allow users to access email using POP3 (or IMAP would be just fine if that's easier).

However i'm not really sure where to start!

I tried editing the xinetd pop3 file do disabled = no and restarting xinetd but that didn't seem to do anything.

I'm lost. Any help appreciated!!

Which pop3 service are you trying to use?

Have you checked that you have a pop3 deamon installed, that the service has been activated though bootup scripts or xinetd and that your firewall doesn't block port 110?
