please tell me how to fix this - apache2

Running apache2...locally.

I get this all the time -- often upon accessing the site for the first time:

"Maximum sessions for user reached.Contact the System Administrator"

SO, I am installing a document management system. Easy -- put the files into /var/www/html
make a mysql database, populate it, modify config files -- this is all pretty straightforward.

SO, I open firefox (the error message I pasted was generated by konqueror - it's the same in firefox) to goto the login page...I can even put the default uname and pwd into the text boxes FOR THE FIRST TIME -- and I get that friggen error.

SO -- where is the apache config do I change this. It's pretty frustrating running this setup to build sites locally, when I get this error message all the time. Often the first time I access a page.

I looked at the httpd config to find a sessions entry to modify -- I did not find any.

Could someone please help...how long will it take to type a line?

Thanks
