playwave problem

Hi all,
I am trying to use command "playwave" in Bash to play some wave files.
for example:
playwave toto.WAV

The problem is that sometimes it works fine; the sound is played. But sometimes I get following error:
Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

And I always have a warning message after having played a sound. The message is like:
warning: leaving MCOP Dispatcher and still 146 types alive.

Can anyone tell me where the problem is?

Thanks a lot!
