Picassa anyone?
Has anyone been able to get Picassa to work with wine?
It installs fine with wine, but there are a lots of issues with it. For eg: I am unable to click and select a folder or a picture. The moment I click on a folder, it brings up the window to change its name. Of course, none of the photo-fixing options (like remove red-eye or I'm feeling lucky) work. I would love hear from any one who has managed to get it to work with wine.
(your wine-version and config files would help).
I am sure some people will suggest linux alternatives to Picassa like gthumb (my favorite), f-spot, gkam etc. But none of these softwares really measure up to the capabilities of picassa. It totally blew me away with its capabilities. If you have access to a windows machine, you should try it.
