php help

well I tried to install php onto my apache server. When I tried to start the server after I edited the httpd.conf file this is what I got

Code:
Syntax error on line 237 of /etc/apache/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/libexec/libphp4.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I did a search for libphp4.so and I didn't receive any results...so I searched for libphp4 and the only result I received was /home/user/php-4.3.5/sapi/apache/libphp4.module.in which is where I extracted the tar.gz file. I d/loaded the tar.gz file from the php site so it's the right one

btw I'm running Slack 9.1
