paid email service

I recently changed bank as the only solution to prevent unwanted charges from service providers who make sure you cannot cancel their services. With this new account, I make sure I only subscribe to services who accept my payments to their account - not want their automatic access to my bank account.
I have an email service (personal email only) which has never given me any problem (fastmail.com) but they refuse to allow me to pay my yearly renewal by making an automatic payment from my account (mail.com was one you cannot stop from taking money from your account).

Can anyone suggest an email service?

Alternatively, I have a website with "linode" and someone might suggest it could be simpler to set up my email that way (I am completely new on the subject).

Thank you for your help.

Try mailbox.org. A Euro a month. You fill the account at mailbox.org, they send you a friendly reminder when it's close to depletion.

Seconding mailbox.org. I've had it for while, and it works perfectly. Plus, it's affordable.

Thirding mailbox.org.
There's also posteo.de, very close to mailbox.org in features.
