Outlook Express to Thunderbird!

Well, with my continued struggle to switch from Windows to Linux entirely, I ran into another road-block. I backed up all my Outlook Express email files, I got a tool to convert them to .dbx (a common format as far as i know), and now would like to load them into my Linux version of Thunderbird.

I was trying to find where to throw them. I found the ~/.thunderbird folder, and was putting them places in there, but profiles were screwing with it. I got them loaded one time, but it messed with other settings.

Does anyone have any experience in this dept that they would care to bestow upon me?

This applies to Mozilla Mail so I presume the same goes for firebird.

Mail is stored under
Code:
~/.mozilla/PROFILE NAME/SUMMAT.slt/Mail/ACCOUNT NAME
from looking around mail is stored as a single file, the file Inbox being your inbox. Hence you won't be able to just copy your dbx files accross.

One way which may work if you open your dbx and they are plain text, you might get away with copying and pasting the correct parts to you Inbox file but this may screw up and is a stupid solution really.
