Question Oss

Hello.
I decided to take care for my soun on slack 8.1 I am curently using. I installed OSS then took care for license. Everything worked fine I had sound, my xmms player worked. It was just perfect. I reboot it and now after doing ./soundon (root) I get a folowing messege:
bash-2.05a# /usr/local/bin/soundon
Notice: Your current kernel has been compiled without module versioning
Full kernel compatibility cannot be reliably verified.
This copy of OSS is licensed to Jakub
Failed to activate the driver
Probably caused by a technical problem.
See /usr/lib/oss/soundon.log for more info.
Please reply if have any ideas why,

thank you a lot.
Jakub.

NOTE! One or more PCI soundcards seem to share their IRQ with another card.
This may in some cases cause problems..
If your PCI soundcard is not functional, please use
BIOS PCI/PnP setup to allocate a private IRQ for the device.
However you don't need to be worried if everything appears to be working OK.
See /usr/lib/oss/docs/README.Irqsharing for more info.

The following IRQ number(s) appear to be shared:
10: (Shared with a non sound device(s))
