OS Web Server Management Software?

I'm looking for OPEN SOURCE web server management programs. As it seems, cPanel, Plesk, and Ensim all cost a substantial amount of money. I was hoping there would be a mature (developed and stable) open source application that could be a decent replacement. Does anybody have any experience with another program, or set of programs that can run together to accomplish the same job?

Thanks,
Jason Bush

I don't have any experience at all with it, but you could look at Webmin -- I've heard people I know say good things about it. There's another program called Usermin that apparently let's users configure their own accounts and the like.

I looking specifically for a web host control panel for users to be able to control all aspects of their account.. such as sub-domain creation, file editor etc.. This is going to be a free host for open source developers looking for web hosting.. but I need a simple way of allowing them to control it..

Does anybody have experience with usernin and how it works in a web hosted environment?
