oracle app server on red hat 9

When I try to install the Oracle App Server on Red Hat 9 it tells me that I need to have at least 256 MB RAM installed in order to install the App Server. I HAVE _ONE_ _GIG_ INSTALLED!

I already have the database installed, but it won't let me even try to get the app server installed. Anyone know what to do?
