Oracle and mandrake


has anyone of you been able to install the latest oracle server on mandrake 10?
because when I followed the instructions of the CD it asked for a red hat or a united linux......is there anyway other than getting a new distribution to solve this problem ??

i've got it on suse enterprise here, if that helps. i didnt install it though.
