openshot video editor issue

I guess i am damned never to get a single video made. Haha. After i do the screeencast, i save the video file onto my pc.. i watch it and it plays just fine. When i import it into openshot, and put it on the timeline at 0.00 seconds. I hit play to test it and when it plays the clip, for somereason it starts about 4 minutes into it. If i slide the slider all the to 0.0 it shows in the movie view that my beginig portion of video is gone, but yet vlc will play the video just fine. Haha. I use open shot to add sound and titles. Thanks. I record voice seperate.

So strange. Thanks
