Openoffice: Need help fixing Table of Contents

Using Debian Lenny
Openoffice 2.4

I have a Table of Contents that I need to edit. Some of the
levels are out.
It has 7 parts. Part 3 is buried under Part 2. Is
there a way to fix this and bring out Part 2 to be a main
heading in the Table of Contents?

Is there an easy way to do this, or do I need to edit the
entire Table? The entries in the Table are linked
throughout the document.

I've looked at a few tutorials on the Internet, but am still
uncertain about how to do this.

Thanks

The TOC is built off of the Heading designations for the text. So to bring out Part 2 to be a main heading, you need to find that text in the document and set it to be Heading 1. Once you've done that, right click on the TOC and update it.
