opengl error... conflicting with ethernet??

Hi,

I just got a Dell optiplex GX280 comp at my office. I installed Mandriva (former mandrake). Everything is fine, except that, when i try to call any opengl function (even when i create an empty class that inherits QGLWidget), I get an error message as

Listening on Device /dev/pts/0
Message from syslogd@169-155 at Mon May 16 14:53:24 2005 ...
169-155 kernel: Disabling IRQ #16

I dont know what that means. But, after this thing pops up, my internet connection is gone... Does that mean anything

Can anyone please help me with this? I am trying to develop an applicatioin for viewing my output and am struck with this error.

Perhaps your nic user IRQ 16 which is also used by your vga card. Run:
Code:
cat /proc/interrupts
to see if that's true.
You can either change the PCI slot of your nic (if it's not on-board), or change the IRQ from the BIOS.

I can see that 16 is associated with eth0. And, I am using the inbuilt graphics card, and no other thing is in PCI slot. Pls let me know what to do now.
