Question ooffice install wizard

Ooffice initially worked on my system (on the initial install, the configuration wizard ran and Ooffice worked just fine).
But After having some problems, I used the package manager on Mandrake 9.0 to remove and reinstall it.
When I did this, the install wizard automatically startup and now ooffice reports that it is missing a config file in my home directory.
What needs to be done in a case like this of de-install and re-install the software?

HI
most programs store user-specific settings under /home/username/.program_name

so it's good to back up the directory before u reinstall it.
