no title bars

hey i am using ubuntu edgy and i just installed the nvidia driver and beryl with this guide

beryl works fine but the my windows dont have any title bars at all (bars at the top of the windows with the name of the window and the close, minimize and maximize buttons)

emerald is installed but none of the many themes are loading at all.

plus it seems like when i make a new terminal while in beryl it shows up all white, but any terminals i had open already are fine.

anyone can help?

If title bar is not displayed try two options by right clicking on the red crystal icon in notification area

1.Reload Window Manager
2.Reload Window Decorator

thanks for the reply but restarting either the window manager, window decorator, xserver... does not fix the problem. i even tried uninstalling the apps and doing it over but it still doesnt seem to work.

try disabling desktop effects and reboot and try again i had the same problem at first but when i made a reboot after disabling desktop effects and restarting and doing the steps mentioned earlier it worked try and post a reply

ya today it is suddenly working, i guess what you suggested worked since i didnt really do much else since the second time i installed thanks a lot.
