linuxmandrake Member Registered: Sep 2004 Distribution: debian sarge 64bit (AMD) Posts: 709 Rep:	no sound in vlc GRRRR VLC loads fine but i dont have sound. Am using alsa sound drivers 1.0.9rc3. No matter what the source is there isn't any sound. But other apps like amarok have sound but KSCD doesn't have sound when playing CD either. could it be a driver problem am experiencing. I have a sound blaster live 7.1but i only have a 5.1 speaker set.
