no sound in flash

i just installed flash player 6 and it works great, but there's no sound.

otherwise my sound system works fine (plays xmms with esound)..

running kernel 2.6.5 on debian testing with a turtle beach santa cruz sound card.

Any ideas?

The only thing i could think of was that it's trying to use oss ? is there an oss wrapper for esound?

have you:

chmod a+rw /dev/dsp ?

just did.. no difference.

the current user is a member of the group 'audio' which owns /dev/dsp...
