New to Compiling

Hello,

Hope this is the right forum...
New to compiling software....

I'm working with IPCOP DEV and wish to configure/compile Dansguardian to create an install package for the bare IPCOP distro.

Would anyone care to give me some tips on configuring something from source on one machine so that I might move the final product over to another?

Probably really basic question...but have to start somewhere

Thanks...
