network forwarding

i am really only experimenting with my home pcs.
i have a CentOS box and a windows XP box and in playing around with things i have them both linked to my home router and to each other by a separate point to point link on a different network.
i would like to try to route all my network traffic from my xp through my CentOS. at the start i would just like everything to be forwarded but later on i would like to be able to experiment by adding filters to block traffic by IP or Port.

really at this point i am looking for a program i can use to run on my CentOS to do this. i have done some googling but haven't found anything so i was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.

Thanks Scott.

just run "sysctl -w net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1" and that'll do it. This isn't windows... no extra gimmicks required.

note that you will need two different subnets, one for each side of the box, and the router will need to know the route back to the XP subnet via the centos box. you may wish to simplify things by also use ip masquerading, which you'll find plenty of one liners for both here and google.
