Question Need help fixing error: /bin/sh: javac: in Geany

Hi Everyone,

At the moment I'm having toruble with trying to run Java in Geany. Every time I try to execute Java in Geany. I get an
Code:
error: /bin/sh: javac:
. Does anyone know how fix this? Is there something I miss to install? How do I locate the javac file for Geany?

Here the following steps I've try so far.
(1) I install Java onto my computer and verify my Java.
(2) I've try to locate the main Java file in Geany but fail.

About my system :
OS : Tarhar Puppy Linux 6.0.2
Geany : 1.24.1

Thank you for your help.

...seems to be a java compiler.
are you sure it is installed on your system?
maybe geany simply can't find it.

I can't found the compiler anywhere on the computer. But I'll give it a other shot, maybe I miss something.

Thank you for the reply

thank you!
archlinux even has a script for that:
Code:
$ archlinux-java -h
archlinux-java <COMMAND>

COMMAND:
status List installed Java environments and enabled one
get Return the short name of the Java environment set as default
set <JAVA_ENV>	Force <JAVA_ENV> as default
unset Unset current default Java environment
fix Fix an invalid/broken default Java environment configuration
