Need help booting Linux partition

Hi

I managed to install Mandrina Free 2007 on my computer (after having trouble with black screen -- se my previosly thread), but i dont know how to boot from it.

I have one partition which is WinXp (Fat32), one partition with my stuff (NTFS) and one partition where i installed Linux (Ext2 according to Partition Magic). The partitions are in that order.

Can somebody describe to me, in an easy, human, way, how to dual boot xp and linux? I`ve searched some HOWTO`s around the web, but they looses me.

Either an easy describtion, or a link to a userfriendly site would be nice.

Thanx

Partition Magic used to include a boot loader called Boot Magic. If you have Boot Magic, you can set it up to be your bootloader to choose between windows and Linux.

If you don't have Boot Magic, then go to www.gnu.org, and download a copy of the grub manual for instructions on how to set up grub as the bootloader.

Then boot Linux from the install cd, and set up grub. The manual has good step-by-step instructions.
