Need a countdown timer for 10 days

Hello,

I'm trying to get this running, but something called Karamba is needed. And a KDE developer told me that it's too old, and Karamba is no longer compatible with KDE. So unless there's a different library to make this easy to modify, and use the new library, I probably need something different.

https://store.kde.org/p/1104184/

The timer must be for 10 days and not reset itself if I reboot my computer.

Thanks

How about using cron directly?

Or anacron, if the system might be down at the wrong moment and you would like the task to run as soon as it can anyway.

The at utility might be more appropriate for one-off tasks. It doesn't have a count down function but it can list jobs in the queue using atq.
