NdisWrapper

I mean like wtff nor Ubuntu (Breezy Badger) nor BackTrack 2 supports my PCMCIA wireless adapter of US Robotics MaxG. So I tried to search for linux drivers, but they refer me at their homepage to the thingy NdisWrapper, would anyone be so kind to explain me step by step what to do with it, because really I don't understand anything of it Keep in mind that I jsut started with linux for like 3 days, and here on my desktop everything works fine, it recognizes my Ralink wireless adapter , so ok plz some detailed help

Here's one "howto" for Ubuntu (with Google you'll find many others for other distributions, but they should apply generally also):

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=31926

Basically: install ndiswrapper and it's utils package, obtain suitable drivers (.ini file) for your card, use ndiswrapper command to "install" the ini file, make sure no old native drivers are loaded (and that ndiswrapper is loaded using 'modprobe ndiswrapper') and you should be on your way.
